FIRST THINGS FIRST

In our embarkation meeting we will go through the process together with you. However, before registering, it’s important we are on the same page about this journey.

We need you to watch the following videos, as they contain basic information that constitutes the foundation of our methodology.

Take your time.

After you have made yours this knowledge, you can proceed to the registration for the embarkation meeting.

let’s start with why

Why are we doing this?

Paul will answer this and other questions in this short video.

your PRIMARY TOOL: LISTENING

We show up to listen, to learn and to share. We listen without judgment as best we can.

Listening is not easy. This is why we need you to learn more about this incredibly powerful human activity!

In this video, Otto Sharmer, author of Theory U, introduces the four levels of listening and why they are important as a leadership skill.

During your journey, your goal is to try always to engage in level 3 or 4 of listening.

Your participation

What will be required from me? Aldo will try to answer to this question.

  • the participants will be divided into weave pods of 5-7 persons each. The weavers will assign participants to weave pods keeping in consideration many different criteria, with the objective to make the weave pods as heterogeneous as possible;

  • after the embarkation meeting you will be submitted a survey to help us better assign you to a weave pod;

  • this experiment consists in 5 weekly 90 minutes pod meetings. You will be able to select a time of your convenience during the initial survey. We need you to commit to this time, to ensure a fluid experience to all participants;

  • each weave pod will include a facilitator. This role requires the reading and understanding of a short guide, and the participation to some coordination meetings, but provides with an even more exhilarating experience during the execution of the weave pods.
